Deep Cleaning Services in Ireland
Elite Cleaning & FM provides specialist deep cleaning across Ireland: methodical disinfection, high-touch point cleaning and removal of built-up grime from corners, fixtures and behind equipment. Deep cleaning is typically commissioned after an infection outbreak, after construction or refurbishment, on kitchen extract and food-prep areas, or where a building has run for a long period on daily cleaning alone.
When a deep clean is the right answer
- After a norovirus, C. difficile or other infection outbreak
- After construction, refurbishment or a fit-out — removing fine dust from every surface
- Kitchen and food-prep areas, including behind and beneath fixed equipment
- Before a new tenant, contract mobilisation or building handover
- Where daily cleaning has been reduced or suspended for a period
- Ahead of an inspection, audit or accreditation visit
What makes it different from routine cleaning
Daily cleaning works on accessible surfaces within a fixed time window. Deep cleaning removes that constraint: equipment is moved, fixtures are dismantled where safe to do so, and the areas that daily cleaning cannot reach — behind appliances, under plinths, inside extract canopies, high-level ledges and pipework — are brought back to standard.
Biofilm is the reason this matters. In drains, on food-contact equipment and in washroom fixtures, microbial films build up under a surface that looks clean and cannot be removed by wiping. They need mechanical removal plus the correct chemistry and contact time.
Post-construction cleaning
Construction dust is fine, pervasive and settles for weeks after the trades leave. A post-construction clean works top-down through the building, more than once, and includes ceiling voids, ductwork grilles, light fittings, window reveals and frames, and full glass. Handing a building over after a single wipe-down is the most common reason a new occupier is unhappy on day one.

Deep Cleaning questions
How long does a deep clean take?
It depends on the size of the area, how long it has gone without a deep clean and whether equipment needs to be moved or dismantled. A single commercial kitchen is usually an overnight job; a full facility reset after construction is programmed in phases across several days. We survey the space before quoting rather than pricing by the square metre.
Do you provide deep cleaning after an infection outbreak?
Yes. Outbreak response cleaning uses a defined disinfection method with products effective against the organism involved, correct contact times and a documented record of what was treated. Work is planned with your infection-control lead so the area is released back into use only when it should be.
Is deep cleaning a one-off or can it be scheduled?
Both. Many clients run it as a planned periodic programme — kitchen deep cleans quarterly, washroom deep cleans and high-level work on a set cycle — alongside their daily contract. Scheduling it is cheaper than commissioning it reactively, and it keeps the building from ever falling far below standard.
